Help Emiliano and His Grandmother Keep Fighting

Emiliano came into this world facing challenges that most of us can hardly imagine.

During pregnancy, his mother learned that he would be born without arms or legs. From that moment on, Emiliano should have been surrounded by protection, care, and love. Instead, his childhood was also deeply affected by the consequences of his parents’ drug addiction.

According to his family, during Emiliano’s early years, his condition was used to obtain donations, money, and support from local organizations. Resources that should have gone toward his care did not always reach him, as some of that assistance was allegedly used to support his mother’s drug addiction.

That was when his grandmother stepped in and changed the course of his life.

She obtained custody of Emiliano and took on the enormous responsibility of raising and caring for him.

Since then, she has been by his side every single day. She feeds him, helps with his personal care, attends to his daily needs, takes him to appointments, and does everything she can to give him what every child deserves: safety, dignity, and love.

But today, his grandmother also needs help.

She is elderly and is no longer able to work while providing full-time care for Emiliano. At the same time, his needs continue to grow.

Emiliano requires regular physical therapy, appropriate medical follow-up, and support for his basic daily needs. The family is now struggling even to cover the most essential household expenses.

Their rent is already overdue.

While his grandmother does everything she can to make sure Emiliano receives the care he needs, she also lives with the constant fear of not knowing how she will pay the next bill, buy the things he needs, or keep a roof over their heads.

This fundraiser is not about pity.

It is about giving Emiliano the opportunity to receive the care he needs to live with greater comfort, health, and dignity — and giving his grandmother the peace of mind she needs to continue doing what she has done for years: caring for the grandson she loves.

• physical therapy sessions and other necessary care for Emiliano;

• food, hygiene products, and everyday essentials;

• medical and transportation expenses;

• overdue rent and upcoming housing costs;

• other basic needs that will allow his grandmother to continue caring for him safely.
